Call for projects 2024: €15 million in subsidies for climate projects

To support countries worldwide in the fight against climate change, the Government of Flanders continues its commitment to international climate financing. Since 2021, the Government of Flanders has launched three consecutive calls for adaptation and mitigation projects in developing countries. These projects enhance the implementation of climate policies, strategies, regulations, action plans, and technology.

To bolster the Flemish commitment to international climate financing, the name of this subsidy programme has been changed from "G-STIC Climate Action Programme" to "Flanders International Climate Action Programme."

Through the Flanders International Climate Action Programme, projects are supported that demonstrate technologies, disseminate knowledge and information, and initiate capacity building. These projects must be carried out in developing countries, with a Flemish organization taking the lead.

For the 2024 call for projects, the Government of Flanders provides €15 million in subsidies. More info >
